Charity Donation 2023
Our chosen charity this session was the Cooking Club which is run from St Peter's Episcopal Church in Musselburgh.
It is open every Wednesday from 4.30 - 6.30pm when meals are served to those who drop in.
It is free and provides a friendly social hub to those who come along. It is a voluntary and self funding organisation.
In the past they have received surplus food from local supermarkets but due to the present financial climate these have decreased substantially.
Our donation of £500 will help to augment their extremely low store cupboard.
When we visited we found it to be friendly, happy and well attended. We were delighted to make a contribution and they were equally delighted to accept it.
